vakuum Issue 04 “Chaos / Order” explores the tension between disruption and structure – the moments when systems collapse and new patterns emerge. It looks at how order can arise from chaos, and how chaos can, in turn, challenge what we perceive as order. The 128 pages merge visual experiments, artistic reflections, and cultural observations into a dialogue between control and spontaneity.

As a dual-themed print magazine, each vakuum issue functions as a stand-alone conceptual work portraying two opposing perspectives – designed to be read from both sides, meeting in the middle and featuring two covers.

This issue features exclusive interviews with artist and performer Esben Weile Kjær, musician Symba, actors Luisa Gaffron and Tijan Marei, and producer Kev Koko, as well as curator Emma Enderby, tech entrepreneur Aya Jaff, and photographer Charlotte Schmitz.

This issue marks the first time vakuum appears in two distinct versions.
Both editions feature the same content – edition one features one cover photographed by Nereis Ferrer and one by Shauna Summers featuring Symba.

vakuum Issue 3 „Abstrakt/ Konkret“ explores the synergies of different perspectives – the one’s where we get up close and meticulously dissect cultural phenomena and trends, and the one’s where we step back to look at the bigger picture of the zeitgeist and find new meanings to the most essential things in life.

The 128 pages feature exclusive interviews with actress and musician Zsá Zsá Inci (“Die Wilden Hühner”), actor Langston Uibel (“Roter Himmel“, “Unorthodox”), DJ Goth Jafar and Boloboys musician Loco Candy. In addition, Issue 3 presents editorials, essays, features and prose by authors, stylists and photographers like Jovana Reisinger, Olga Hohmann, Brydie Perkins, Mi Märak, Johanna Bommer and Joshua Ezéchiel.
