Sia Arnika is starting Berlin Fashion Week’s Autumn/Winter 2025 season off strong with an unconventional homage.  Her collection aims to seamlessly blend the past and the future, telling the story of the so-called “Harbour Bitch” through a striking, atmospheric runway show. The inspiration for this powerful figure is drawn from Sia Arnika‘s childhood memories, specifically of a factory worker from the Danish island of Mors. With her unexpected elegance and self-assured presence, this woman became the muse for Arnika’s collection, representing strength, independence and a sense of mystical power.

Her pieces embrace this concept of contrast in every detail. Structured outerwear, deconstructed workwear, and unexpected textile combinations. Plaid, drawn from historical Danish fishermen’s archives, meet fishnet overlays and exaggerated silhouettes. Even the footwear plays with contradictions – classic Danish work clogs transform into mules and boots with hooked heels, adding an unexpected edge to functional staples. The show itself was a multisensory experience that perfectly captured the essence of the collection. The runway resembled a Danish fish auction, complete with scattered seaweed and shimmering foam. The atmosphere underscored the inspiration behind the collection: the “Harbour Bitch” – a woman who commands attention, defies expectations, and embodies strength.

Since founding her brand in 2020, Sia Arnika has firmly established herself as one of Berlin’s most exciting voices in fashion. Her label strikes a balance between minimalism and maximalist opulence, questioning conventional aesthetic norms. This unique approach is what Arnika refers to as “experimental normality”, which runs through every collection and reflects her roots in Scandinavia alongside the vibrant, eclectic culture of Berlin.

Sia Arnika – A Celebrity Fan Favorite

Arnika’s Designs have already garnered significant attention from prominent figures in the fashion and music industry. Charlie XCX wore one of her pieces for her 32nd birthday. Her collaboration with Kylie Jenner’s label Khy in November 2024 further cemented Sia Arnika’s global success. Beyond high-profile collaborations, she remains focused on direct-to-consumer sales, ensuring that her brand’s growth is both sustainable and authentic. The brand’s measured approach to production aligns with its commitment to responsible growth, maintaining a careful balance between demand and environmental impact.
